The Challenge
Diamond Bar CAPA, a parent association supporting Diamond Bar High School, was tracking members, volunteers, and event sign-ups across spreadsheets and group chats. Board members spent hours every week reconciling rosters, chasing volunteer hours, and answering the same membership questions.
Our Solution
We built a dedicated portal at capa.yhatch.com that consolidates membership, volunteer scheduling, and hour tracking in one place. Members sign in to manage their own profiles, browse open volunteer slots, sign up for events, and track logged hours — while board members get an admin view for approvals, reporting, and exports. Built in partnership with the CAPA board: Jackie Xu, Jane Sun, Elene Xu, and Lilian Mo.
